I thoroughly enjoyed Carmen Morin’s Piano Foundation Course. I am a beginner piano player, never having played before, pushing 70 years old, retired and lucky to have the time to spend a few hours a day practicing. After about 6 months of taking other courses and cruising YouTube, and feeling very frustrated, I came upon this course.
For a beginner like me it was like finding gold.
I desperately needed to start from scratch, yet all that I was able to find prior to this course skipped over the basic essentials necessary to establish a solid foundation. This course does that extremely well, answering all the questions I'd been asking myself.
From other students’ comments, it appears that the course is very helpful even to pianists much more advanced than a beginner. Though I do enjoy classical music, my piano playing interest is more in jazz and the blues. Learning these piano foundations will serve one well in any genre I’m sure.”
